The Atlanta Streetcar travels in a loop in downtown Atlanta and connects the downtown business district to Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia State University, Sweet Auburn and the Martin Luther King Jr. Historic District. Frequency is every 10-15 minutes, though many destinations you can walk to faster than waiting for a ride.
The streetcar fare is $1 and children under 46″ inches are free with a paying adult (limit two free children per adult). Currently there is not free transfers between MARTA and the streetcar. We recommend using the mobile app for iOS or Android to purchase your fare, or buy a ticket from the vending machines at the streetcar stops.
The streetcar operates seven days a week, with a late operating time until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights in case you head out to Edgewood Avenue bars.
