Piedmont Park Directions

Piedmont Park is a large and historic greenspace in Midtown Atlanta with a running track, sports fields, tennis courts, lake, meadow, farmers market, dog park, swimming pool, walking paths and more. Many festivals also take place in the park throughout the year, including Music Midtown and the Dogwood Festival.

Transit Options

The Midtown and Arts Center Stations are within a 20-minute walk of Piedmont Park. Both train stations are on the red and gold rail lines. The Arts Center Station is closest to the active oval sport fields and tennis courts.

To speed up your commute, there are often Relay Bikes and e-scooters outside the stations, especially at Midtown. E-scooters aren’t allowed in the park, however.

Two bus routes stop next to the park. Bus 809 departs from the Lindbergh Center and King Memorial Stations and travels next to the park on Monroe Drive. Exit at Park Drive for a neighborhood, and historic bridge entrance to the park or exit near 10th Street by Park Tavern. Or ride bus 27 from the Arts Center Station. It’s free to ride the bus if you are transferring from a train. Otherwise you can pay exact cash or use a Breeze Card for payment.
